These are his actual words:

Well, Jordan (ph), you're not going to believe what state I was in when I heard about the terrorist attack. I was in Florida. And my chief of staff, Andy Card -- actually I was in a classroom talking about a reading program that works. And I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on, and I use to fly myself, and I said, "There's one terrible pilot." And I said, "It must have been a horrible accident."

Impossible.

1st plane was not shown live? it was shot by a crew on the street and shown some time later.

The story that he was watching TV contradicts reports from correspondents at the time that he got the news in a phone call from his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. It also adds further puzzles: why he was being made to wait?

MAD!!!

I'd hardly call Bush's classic mangling of the language evidence of some higher conspiracy.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that the more people who are involved in the conspiracy the more likely the truth is to come out and be conclusively validated, often by an inside source. That's yet to happen with the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

On the other hand, the BS claims that served as justification for the Iraq invasion have conclusively been proven to be false.

So when it came to 9/11, he was just an incompetent leader running a Keystone Cops show that ultimately failed to prevent a preventable attack.

When it comes to the Iraq invasion -- yeah, he lied.

Ever notice how nutcase conservatives claim something is biased unless it's from fox news?

Nutcase Conservatives just can't admit it when they have proof against them.

Bush had better things to do then be troubled by something minor like a major terrorist attack. In fact if you notice whenever things get bad in this country he takes a vacation.

We as Americans started wondering why he just sat there picking his nose when we were being attacked.

Since he noticed he was getting a bad rap for not knowing what to do he had to come up with some kind of sorry excuse.

Those same excuses is why he has these approval ratings http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

I'm glad he wasn't President during Pearl Harbor on 12/7/41. He probable would have taken a vacation.

he is childish,, he was informed in the classroom while reading "my pet goat" ,,by Andrew Card,,,he sat motionless, his face drained of color for at least 20 minutes, then he puddle jumped across the US most of the day, hiding here and there, he finally made it back to the White House later in the evening of 9-11,,, Cheney lied earlier about shooting down the plane that crashed, he said he gave the order to shoot it down 30 minutes after it had already crashed, busted one more time, Dick , you can't aim anyway,, ha,,,,,,,,,,,

I didn't realize you were provided the same information as the President...you people need to get a grip on life. Sometimes things ARE as they seem you don't have to sugar coat it or dig for the ''truth''.

What can I say? He is a politician and a republican. Need I say more? He would rather tell a lie when the truth would work better, as most republicans are prone to do.

Can you provide a credible unbias source? And why do you have to wait for someone to ask for it before you post it?

You think CNN is unbias? Yeah, you are nuts.
