I don't think so. Love is a lot different than hate. Also, hate is a very strong word. You probably mean to say: dislike or something mild like that. Do yo truly hate this person? I doubt it. You're just not compatible.

Hate is an emotion. Love is an emotion. They are both strong emotions, but in no way are they the same. If you want to look at that statement in the way that if you hate someone you love someone because you have feelings for them, then I could see that being true.

I think very few people experience true hate. I hateful nature is not as commen as the desire to love. I say that and I'm not even an optimist. I cannot hate. I don't have it in me and I am glad.

Impossible because the opposite of love is not hate but indifference.

The more I hate someone, the more I love to hate them. Does that count? :)

The opposite of love is actually indifference. He's making you angry for a reason...maybe he reminds you of someone from your past.

I've heard that if you hate someone enough, it eventually turns around into love.
I have my doubts about it though...

If you hate strongly, then when you love, love feels stronger.
If you love someone intensely, then when they wrong you or betray you, it is easier to hate them.
