In 1999, "LT"who wore the number 5 while attending TCU broke the NCAA Div I single game rushing record by 10 yds. On that day "LT" gained 406 yds, eclipsing the previous mark of 396yds set by Tony Sands of University of Kansas in 1991. Oddly enough in that very year(1991) Marshall Faulk ran for 386 yds in a game while he was at SanDiego State. So Faulks 386, and, Sands' 396 were outdone by Tomlinson's 406.
