No - not crazy.
Usually for the Family questions, I take a peek at the user's previous questions and it's quite easy to tell, roughly, how old the asker is.
What freaks me out is the number of young kids who come on here asking questions about how they can fix up their family. And who is letting these young kids access a computer without monitoring their activity.
At the other end of the spectrum, I love hearing from folks that have lived through decades that I was not a part of. Chatted with a fellow who fought in the Viet-nam war, and it gives more of a personal feel to something that you've only seen on TV.

I never really thought about it but yeah your right. I'm 32 with a daughter soon to be 13 and there's no way I'd even let her come on here because of all the questions about sex. I guess a lot of parents don't know what their kids are up to when they're on the Internet though.

I get your point but it doesn't weird me out. A lot of teens can't discuss sex with their parents. When I was a teen my mom didn't discuss anything with me about sex, she acted like it was something to be ashamed of so maybe some of the ones who ask legitimate questions on here are dealing with something similar.

Yeah, they should have age groups on here. Some 13 yr old boy was asking if anyone ever sex with more than one person at the same time before. And all ages were answering him.

I'm closer to 40 then 30. And there are times you can SO tell when someone is alot younger. Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing but sometimes it really shows. Sometimes I just want to tell them "You think that way because you aren't old enough to know better" but that would be rude and I'm not here to pee on anyone's parade.... for the most part = )~

Yeah it kinda does mostly because 30 year olds and 15 year olds often ask really similar questions. Makes me wonder whether teens are really maturing quicker or if the older generation is trying to hang on to their youth.

No not crazy! I always hope I'm responding to an adult, unless it's a teen question and I know that. But on the internet I guess we never know who or what age we're talking to.

such is the internet, right?
unfortunately, teh 12 year-olds can get away with nearly anything on teh internet...but luckily, most of their questions are pretty harmless, like "how do i get the boy at school to like me?" or "should i get my bellybutton pierced?"
...they gotta find out about sex somehow...even though this isn't the best way
i think everyone goes through a getting-in-trouble-over-the-internet stage, but its still a little creepy that pre-pubescant children are reading and responding to some of these questoins :P oh well

whats worse is the teens asking about having babies at 12 to 15 years of age from guys over age wanting advice instead of talking with their parents or a counsler.

Yeah, discussing sex with teenagers is never good, however, having a wide array of people to answer any question about anything....sweet...
