you can find all 3 on the download.com site

How did you post this question on yahoo answers then? :)

First I'd check if there are no proxy settings on your browser:
In IE Tools -> Internet Options... Click the Connections Tab. Then click the Lan Settings... button. In there uncheck all boxes in the Proxy Server box.

If nothing is checked there, then you might have incorrectly set your Default Gateway, if you are behind a router/wireless router.

Start -> Run, type cmd in the dialog box and hit ok. In the black window that pops up type ipconfig. Your "Default Gateway" in the output should match your ipaddress except for the digits after the last dot.

If you are directly connected to the internet then you might need to renew your ipaddress from the provider. From the above cmd prompt type ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew.

Last but not least, check to make sure that, if you have a local firewall software, it is configured to allow ie to access the internet.

Good luck.

Sounds like you have a security issue. Make sure that you have the latest Internet Explorer installed and that it is up to date. You will need to get to windows update to do this and if you cannot get to it because of IE....do this:

Download Fire fox browser from the link provided (all you have to do is click and run) and then download the newest version from there. You can keep or delete fire fox after wards.

Note: Fire Fox is a browser just like IE and will assist with being able to download all necessary things.

Then follow PC-Guys advice...Hope this helps.

Hi,
Which service provider are you using? if it is Sing tel, you can always call the hot-line to ask for technical assistance, if its starhub do the same la.

Or could you have your firewall on so you might have to disable the firewall as only approved site that your firewall allowed are able to load. YOu can also check your setting on your IE.
May be you can use Mozilla for the time being.

Something like that happened to me when I got onto a wireless network, I had the same problem. I had to change a setting in IE to make it work. Dunno if you would have to do the same thing.
