First, I gotta laugh for a second. Not that labor is funny - no, but the fact that you're counting the days (and maybe even the minutes!) I remember everyone telling me to enjoy, because once the baby was here, I wouldn't get any rest. Getting up to relieve yourself every 15 minutes is no picnic either.

My water didn't break before I went in to the hospital and I wasn't very dilated, BUT there was more regularity in the contractions (how long they lasted and how far apart they were.) This pain might be the start, especially if it's not something you have experienced before. The best thing, like others said, is to call whoever is on duty and talk with them - they'll either say come on in and let's check or if this happens or this starts, give us another call. I had a false alarm and went in with regular contractions, but they stopped, so got to go back home for another day or two. Ha.

Best to you and yours!

it could be signs of prelabor meaning that your body is starting to prepare for the real thing. Some women don't lose there mucus plug until they are well into labor. If you are having contractions along w/ your back pain I would start timing them and call your doc in the morning and see what they have to say. The tail bone pain could be a sign that your baby has dropped and is in your pelvis which could also be why your back hurts so bad, but call your doc in the morning.

I would call your doc or go to labor and delivery. Back pains in your lower back that come and go are a very good sign that labor is starting or on its way.

This could be pre-labor. A lot of women have contractions that are just practice for the real thing. If they start coming harder and closer together, call your doctor. If you are really worried, call you doctor. The doctors don't mind when someone calls. It's better to be safe than sorry.

You should be going to the doctor once a week now. Call your doctor tomorrow and talk to them. They know the type of pregnancy you have had and your medical history.

It sounds like your back is telling you to relax. Back labour is super painful so you will know the difference. Good luck!

I would say you are in labor. It's best if you call your doctor to find out what they want you to do.

Congratulations and good luck!

I would say that it "could" be and then it could be your back getting tired of holding your belly up. If there is no stomach cramps or discharge that I would say that you are okay... for now. That baby could come anyday now. GOODLUCK AND CONGRATS!
