You get an attorney !!!! Ya hear ????? And you tell them everything and I mean everything !!! Do not hold back anything...Your husband is not your freind ..he will play as dirty as he can and you have to play dirtier...Your attorney will do the work for you you just have to tell them everything...The judge will tell your husband and you what you get not your husband ...After you have seen an attorney sit back and relax because they will do everything from there..and don't talk to your husband if he comes around you call the police...let them handle it...DO NOT GIVE YOUR HUSBAND ANYTHING TO USE AGAINST YOU IN DIVORCE COURT...and in order to do that just stay away from him...He will be paying out the ***

No, it's not legal for him to give you nothing. In fact, the courts are going to laugh at him. Beat him to the punch and file for divorce first. In the best interest of the kids, you'll be awarded the house to keep their lives as normal as possible. Everything else usually gets divided right down the line. Which means if there are two houses, you get one, he gets one, the land must be sold or he has to buy your half out (pay you for it), same as vehicles, pensions and just about everything else. He's just being a jerk honey, don't let him get away with it. After all you've been through, you deserve everything you two had and then some. Get yourself a good lawyer in family law and then make sure that it is ordered for him to pay your lawyer fees (this gets ordered all the time). He screwed up, there is no reason you and the kids should have to suffer.

Absolutely not. He has to give you something. If I were you I would get a lawyer and fast. They will put a lean against everything that you both own and settle it in court. They may also put a hold on all bank accounts too so if you have money in there get it out. But you need to do this TODAY before he bogusly sells them. Good luck.

If your name is on anything, that it is legally yours, and even if that wasn't the case you are still entitled to marital assets. Get a lawyer. Judging by what you've written (about the hitting and DHS) I'm sure that while the judge may not be on your side per se, there will still be no legitimate reason why you are not entitled to what you deserve out of your marriage. Good luck..stay strong...Get a laywer..

To my understanding you get half of what you got together during marriage. Doesn't matter who paid for what. But I would definitely go to a lawyer and start preceedings against him. He sounds like an *** in the first place. And why bother with him anyway, move on, divorce him, get half of what belongs to you and that's it. Plus there's child support as well as spousal support if was the sole provider in the family.

well legally neither you or him have much say in how the property is split, the courts will decide that so that way the estate is split evenly and if you are legally seperated but still considered married then the courts will probably rule in favor of you since he will be considered comitting adultry and that will give you more grounds for more of the estate and property along with custody of the children

Get a lawyer sweetie. I've never been through that, but I know he can't do that to you. By law, simply because you're married, you are entitled to 50% of everything. He's a typical abuser trying to lord over you. Stand up and fight back, honey.

You need an attorney. It may not matter whether he cheated on you or not (legally, anyway), but in most states the courts demand a fair and equitable distribution of marital assets. You need an attorney who is well versed in your state's divorce laws.
