I give to the spca (for real)... hate feeding something over seas that is more then likely going to grow up and hate me

I believe all charity begins at home first, so I would give to the spca, or adopt a new furry friend to really be a help.

I would always give to people before animals. Not that I haven't given to animal charities in the past, but I'm much more concerned, alarmed actually, about humans... especially the way we treat (or mistreat) the youngest and most vulnerable among us.

Giving money to starving people is a gratuitous action but we do not have to dispense with our pets or sacrifice our personal joys.
We worked hard for our personal gratifications although we should also give to charity.

I suppose it depends on which you think is more valuable. While I love animals, I value human-life more.
