My period is over except for some brown spotting but I am still getting the cramps. What could be causing that?

Your body is still cleaning out all the lining, hence the brown blood and the cramps.

the worst cramps I get usually happen when my flow slows down, and I feel almost no pain when it is heavy. Go figure! But anyways, it is quite normal to get cramps anytime during your period.

Brown is old blood. It's probably just a "cleaning" kind of thing. Happens from time to time.

First of all , what is your age. This happened to me about the time I went through the change...I was 53 at the time...I don't think it is anything to be alarmed about..But if this is upsetting you , call you Dr..It may relieve the worry..

Try some tea with about a tsp. of ground ginger.

That's normal. You should talk to your doctor and he/she will prescribe the best medication for you to help relieve your pain.
