They do it to feel excepted by their friends. If they don't do something their friends want them to do, they are afraid their friends won't like them. They have to learn for themselves who their friends really are and that they don't really need to do that to feel excepted by true friends. Because a real friend wouldn't make you do something that would be wrong.

everyone holds the fear deep inside, that they dont want to be alone. thats why its in our nature to make friends and want friends. so when our friends do something wrong and but think its cool, we feel as though we have to go along with it otherwise we will lose our friends and be alone. worst still we would have to make new friends. thats why

Everyone wants to feel like they belong (otherwise there'd b no on line communities) but doing what one knows to be wrong is a deficit of character

because there is a thing called peer pressure, which is the urge/desire to fit in with a group one admires for whatever dumb reason! the irrational fear of looking like a coward, or uncool forces them to do stupid things sometimes.. the reward of being praised and adored for doing the wrong thing pays off in their mind.

That is a question that has been asked by many for years and you know what no one has the answer. All you can do is be yourself. Don't play "follow the leader" be your own person.

depending on AGE and Gender...most guys are actually more likely to do what their friends thinks are best because it's a Testosterone thing..women do things their friends want because they are usually emotionally weaker and need support and cheering from friends or family..

thats where reputation kicks in because some thinks that if they dont do it then they will get made fun of or lose there so called friends but everybody goes thrugh it but its up to you to do what is best for you

its being wantin' to fit in, to be apart of a popular group or to feel like being somebody else even if you have to do something stupid. it sounds insane but sometimes people do stupid things and later pay for it, its part of life nobody is perfect but we learn from our mistakes. hopefully!!!
