because you become self-conscious and you become anxious of making the best impression despite the ineptness that you are well aware you're having.. many things come rushing though your mind, whether you look good at the moment; will you approach him or not and what are you going to say to him if you do; what if he approaches you first then what are you going to say to him; will he like you coz you're really dying for him to like you and you don't want to make a fool of yourself. it's all about liking and being liked back against the fear of being rejected. in psychology it's called approach-avoidance conflict and this creates sensations that can be unpleasant that's why you freak-out.
just relax girl, we all go through stages like that, even guys do too. afterall it's just a crush, it's not like marrying him today. enjoy the feeling. when you're older you're gonna miss all that rush. just don't be carried over for you to do something you will regret. think above all and consider that crush as one of your options.

because more than likely, your a younger female, and you have a crush but your not so straight forward yet that you would just walk up to him and start a conversation or tell him you think he's cute.you should try this, it could be profitable to you.

Perfectly normal.
Useful tip: imagine he's a guy you know that you find totally unattractive, visualize it, hopefully you'll then be able to talk to him without hyperventilating.

It's normal. The moment you see him, you'll get all nervous and tingly inside. But the moment you left him, you'll miss him a lot.

because you don't like being exposed to rejection since i bet, you're either keeping this to yourself yet or telling your friends about it and not knowing whether this person likes you just the same.
