No. Cleaning up after oneself is a personal responsibility. If you let everyone do stuff for you- you start losing touch with what everybody ELSE has to deal with. And the more you get used to throwing money to get things done that you can do yourself- the more DEPENDENT you become on your car, your job, & everything ELSE that ties you down to becoming a SLAVE to the system!!!

As a person that have both, a house cleaner and a cook, i would rather keep the house cleaner.
cooking if organized properly doesn't take that long and since if you are socialy active will eat out few times a week so it leaves the cook to cook for herself.
whilst cleaning the house its a never ending history.
You can ask the house cleaner to do the buying for you and teach her how to cook simple meals. she learns and you gain help.

I'd hire the cleaner too. Cleaning is just a nuisance. I enjoy cooking. It's one of those things I'm of the opinion that if you want it done a certain way, it's best to do it yourself. If my house stayed clean and tidy without me lifting a finger, that would ROCK!

Cook, definitely. Though I love to cook, it's taxing at times. I prefer to make special meals and daily cooking gets on my nerves. As for cleaning, I wouldn't be satisfied with someone else doing it, so I'd be doing it all over again the "right" way, anyhow.

Clean. I can cook, or eat out. Cleaning takes a lot longer.

Definitely someone to CLEAN!! I don't mind cooking on weekends and freezing meal-sized portions which can be put in the microwave.

i would rather be homeless and straving before i hire either cause the cleaner will go in your room and go pantie sniffing and steal you change from the floor and between the coushions of your couch
thje cook will spit in your food or even worse pee in your soup
i just dont trust anyone in my kitchen cause they might even steal my new box of twinkies and drink my o.j out the carton
it saves money doing it your self
