Regular car motor oil , dies that come from te same place where were drilling for oil ?

Motor oil can either be "Refined from Crude" oil or it can be synthesized. There are two kinds of motor oil available. All you have to do is read the labels. If you start your vehicle with refined crude, it is not a good idea to change to the synthetic later on. Leakage problems can occur.

OMG NO!!! My husband worked at a Refinery for 8 years.
The oil at the refineries is Crude Oil.
Crude Oil is what comes out of the ground and is not processed. Motor Oil come from a chemical plant and not a refinery!!

Yes . . . and No. All motor oil is not equal, we have petroleum motor oil that does come from crude oil, after being processed and refined (the yes) and then you have synthetic (which is petroleum based) and even edible motor oil made from vegetables.
