The Bible teaches that same sex relationships are an abomination...Abortion Is killing,But there are times when their has to be a choice,Drinking and driving, that could take someones life who wasen`t ready to die, and It could be your own family members. Hitting? I don`t believe grownups should be hitting each other, we are suppose to be mature and set examples for our children. BUT when it comes to raising children, The Bible says spare the rod, and spoil the child, spanking is used to teach children right from wrong, I wouldn`t say the Bible is wrong, so we don`t spank them because we are MAD we do it with love, But when we hit adults its because we are mad, the Bible says to turn the other cheek. But IM NOT PERFECT.

I believe in the Christian bible and look for answers to these issues there. The answer I found is 1 Cor 10:23-24.
Same sex relationships (marriage) is prohibit to Jews as one of the 613 commandments. There is no prohibition of any of the 613 commandments to non Jews.
Christians are restricted to 1 Cor 10:23-24 and although there is some discussion about heterosexual relationships, there is no discussion about same sex relationships for non Jews (Gentiles). It is an issue that is never discussed, so we have no reveal knowledge about same sex relationships or marriage.
Abortion is never discussed in the bible.
Drinking and driving is expressly forbidden by 1 Cor 10:23-24.
Hitting is expressly forbidden again by 1Cor 10:23-24,
Rabbi's (teachers) express that the pain in obtaining an abortion was punishment enough. In order words, this is an individual decision (pro Choice). They expressed that position 2000 years ago.
Belief is a strange word since all that you ask exists whether or not we believe. Same sex marriages and/or abortions are something we have to work out. Our current legal system is similar to what the rabbis taught, and Jesus was a rabbi.
I hope that answers your question.

As a Christian mom of four, why did you ask this question? Do you mean do I believe that these things happen or are you asking if I think that we should all go out and do them. Like, are you asking whether I think I should deliberately participate in impregnating a woman for the purpose of having an abortion? Are you asking if I think that I think it is a good idea to get drunk, drive and hit someone like old Mel. Do I believe it is a good idea for me to divorce my wife of 40 years and marry some guy?
Or are you asking whether I believe that all of those things do happen every day? Do I believe that some people of the same sex care about each other enough that they want to affirm their love for each other and want to take care of each other in the same manner that a heterosexual couple does? Are you asking that? Yes, that happens. Do I believe that some people do have abortions? Yes, that happens. Do some people drink, drive and hit others? Yes, that happens.
Are you asking whether I subscribe to some bigoted dogma with really simple answers to complex unique situations? That answer is really simple. NO.

I believe that people regardless of sexual orientation should have the same rights and privileges as anyone else.
I believe in the woman's right to choose. That doesn't mean I would choose that option for myself, but I don't want someone taking away that right. Bad things have happened when it was taken away. We should not revisit that.
I think people should pay a VERY stiff penalty for drinking and driving....you have decided to drive a weapon when you get into a car and drive drunk. Those who do should pay for what they do. I have no sympathy for those who get caught regardless of whether or not it is their first time or 10th time.
I do not believe that people should solve their problems with violence. Hitting another person will only provoke more violence. I do however believe that a person has the right to defend themselves should the need arise.

Same sex marriage isn't really something to "believe in", but I believe that it is not wrong, and should be a basic right given by our government to same-sex couples. Even if I did think it is wrong, it still should be a basic right given to same-sex couples, regardless of what the popular opinion is, because homosexuals are taxpaying citizens and should enjoy the same rights and freedoms (and tax deductions) as straight couples.
I believe that abortion is wrong under certain circumstances and justifiable under others, but I believe that everyone should have the choice to choose what they believe for themselves since everyone's personal beliefs are going to differ on it, and it's the fate of their child and their body, and so it should be their decision.
Drinking & Driving is reckless endangerment and equivelent to shooting a gun recklessly in a public place. It is totally wrong, never right. I suppose the sad thing is that some of the people who drink and drive are not bad people and are generally good citizens so you don't want to put them in jail forever, BUT there should be HARSH penalties, like having your car impounded and license revoked and tons of fines and community service. Felons who drink and drive should just go back to jail.

drugs: No, I don`t believe in them AT ALL. The second you offer drugs to someone else, I would consider it either physical assault or even murder. I guess if someone starts them for whatever stupid reason they have (I don`t think there are any good reasons) you cant control everything they do. To those who want to start them and are on them now, please do everything you can to quit. If you can`t do it for yourself, then do it for someone who cares about you, and believe me, you might not know it, but there`s someone. The person I`m going to start talking about in a second doesn`t know how much I care about him. We used to be really close, but we got into an arguement a while ago and we`re both really stubborn, so we never actually made up and we haven`t talked in months. He has no idea that I know, bu he`s bulimic. I know its not exactly the same thing, but its the same concept and trust me watching someone who you care about hurt themself is one of the worst feelings out there.
same sex marriage -yes. If thats how someone is happy its their business and not ours. Its not right to tell someone that even though they love someone, they`re below getting married.
abortion- yes. Its the womans choice. She shouldn`t have to go through pregnancy and raising a kid if she doesn`t want to. And even if she`s giving the kid up for adoption, she should be able to choose what goes on with her body.
drinking & driving- absolutely not. nothing gives someone the right to get in a car and indanger someone else`s life just because they`re to stupid to know better or to selfish to care. I have two points of veiw that support my point.
1: For yourself, once you`re sober again, imagine how horrible you would feel that you took a life because you didn`t just call a friend or a cab for a ride home. You took away someone`s future because of one stupid mistake. If you kill someone in a accident but you weren`t drunk, then it was an accident, and no matter how horrible the outcome, it wasn`t your fault.
2: Also, why should an innocent person, who did nothing wrong pay the price for your mistake? Why should their family have to deal with the pain that you are the one you should have to deal with?
Its just careless, and selfish and not right, no matter what. But as far as I`m concerned a drunk driving accident isn`t an accident at all, its murder.
hitting- I imagine you mean fist fights. Yes, I`m fine with that. You do something and you get whats coming to you. But I don`t believe in beating up people weaker than you. Children, elderly someone with an illness thats makes them weaker, anything like that and I think you should have a reason, not just because you`re in a bad mood.

What's up with hitting? This is the United States of America.
You have the RIGHT TO YOUR OPINION. Exercise It at the voting both. Or express it. To me, to others. Don't stop. I like were you are coming from.
