Tax extension deadline? I filed for an extension back on 4/15 of this year. When is final deadline?

I re-read the extension form and it says 6 months, so that would put the deadline at 10/15... but everyone I've talked to says no, it's 8/15. If you know the answer, please let me know. I've never filed an extension before so I'm just freaking out a little. :)
