Yes, a question everyone should see. I do not think it will change anyones minds, but at least you can say you are trying.

Anyone with a crowbar is a potential burglar.
Anyone with a string is a potential murderer.
Do you agree?
If Israelis bomb civilian areas of Lebanon, and drive terror in the hearts of the lebanese every time they hear a plane flying overhead, does that make them terrorists? But the strict definition, yes.
But I agree. You can't generalize. But the way you wrote the question makes it seem as though you are targeting muslims. Which is why you got some bad responses.

I'm not sure where you're going with this, but I'll try to give my p.o.v:
Cutlure is like a kind of software that we run on. Religion is a kind of culture, therefore it's our software too.
Most Muslims have a normal operating system, call it Islam XP. They are no threat to anyone.
However, some Muslims are running a 'corrupted version' of the software. This causes them to think that crashing planes into tall buildings is a groovy thing to do.
Any Muslim can become 'corrupted', it's true, but as long as they keep their system clean and free of 'viruses', it's unlikely to happen.
From looking at CNN, it appears that there are more corrupted versions of Islam XP than there are of Jesus XP, and the religion does have some issues to sort out. These things happen periodically through history.
However, to treat all Muslims as if they were running the 'corrupted version' would not be fair, would it?

Yes. I get your point: Generalizing is shallow, and inaccurate. It might be more accurate to play word games and say "all terrorists are Muslim", but that is also too broad a generalization.
By the way, nobody I know is saying these things, however, you might consider that a sensitive anniversary is coming up for the U.S. and people might be less politically correct than normal.

I TOTALLY agree. That is true. I am a potential criminal as everyone else is. All muslims are potential terrorists and so are all Americans really.
Everyone is totally capable of crime.

(Isa 64:6) But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteous nesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
All men no matter what they are are far from perfect to God. He did give us a way out and no other God has done that. His Name is Jesus... Yeshua..., son of the living God and Lord of Lords, King of Kings. He is coming and he will Judge.

Well, I see your point though, so I'm going to agree with you. Luckily though, not all muslims are potential terrorists(I hope I'm not wrong)

Hate is caused by fear. Fear is caused by ignorance. Ignorance is caused by a lack of willingness to be attentive to "something". Which is caused by a lack of respect for that "something". Which is caused by a lack of love for that "something" or (someone). Break the cycle. Respect eachother enough to get to know eachother and then we can all learn to care for the other. Don't believe all the HYPE of the media moguls. People ARE GOOD. BE GOOD BACK TO THEM.
