Your best chances in the music biz is to NOT DO RAP!!! Rap's dying fast and major record lables are hot to drop their promotion of it. Nothing personal: but to the big labels--time IS money....and Rap has wasted enough of it. The labels clearly see the large numbers shrink in regards to raps popularity.
You'd do better trying another music genre.
