I was recently on mountain golf courses where bees were present.
They did not hover or attact any other person - other than me?

a few reasons link to yr attraction to bees.......body perfume, hair gel and may be colour of clothings do affect the bees attention....

off maybe? I don't know of any herb. Maybe you were wearing body spray? they are attracted to scents.
