thanks folks, for ur replies. i had thought so. Now it gets interesting. This part of the ? relates to the site " Hello". Once registered w/ the site, it seems to tag your ID w/ your email addy. So ..........
1. does hello tag your id w/ your addy ?
2. if so, does 'hello' confirm the addy is
yours.

Next is mostly an opinion ?, but I am curious what you might think.
3. If #'s 1 and 2 above are 'yes' answers,
would u presume a person denying the
addy is in fact theirs, is just lying ?

The .de on a domain name signifies that it is either from Denmark or Germany.......I'm not sure which, but I do know that it is legit. But I would still be leary of the content inside. If you didn't request the information or whatnot, I don't think I would consider the contents to be legit.

Yes, de stands for Deutschland, which is Germany in English. Those with a yahoo.de email address are writing you from Germany or set up their address on the yahoo.de site

The weblink ending '.de' is abbreviated for Deustchland, which is German for Germany. So, obviously, .de sites will probably be in the German language and be located in Germany.
