I am a Muslim and I am happy the majority of people answered no because America would not be as great if different religions and political beliefs were not respected.

All men are potential rapists.
All gun owners are potential murderers.
All locksmiths are potential burglars.

Suspend their civil liberties and lock them up!

It starts sounding ridiculous, doesn't it?

We are at war with only the radical Islamic Muslims in the world today. It was they that attacked US here on our land. Muslims that are American and Muslims that are here have the same rights as everyone else and should continue to have them.

Now that I have said that, here are some facts to consider, It is a prove fact that we can not tell a radical Muslim from a Muslim. the radical muslim lives everywhere in the world. They have and will have continue deep cells in this country. Muslims are devout people and they will attack and kill infidels if their Muslim Holy Leader calls for a Holy War and against the Western Infidels.

This is in the Quoran and you as a Muslim know it well. What bothers me is that not one Muslim has actually condemned the Actions of the radical Terrorists that are killing and maming innocent people everyday. As if you are an infidel your life is nothing to them.

I have Muslim friends but I trust them as far as I can see them as I have lived and studied in their country and I understand the mind set of the Muslim.

True Devout Muslims have no tolerance for others, it is thier way or no way. No compormise. If the Quoran says it must be done then it is must be done. Therefore if as in the case of Osama, he has declared a Holy War on the USA. The reason are not important, the War has been declared and the only way to stop it, is to convert to Muslim or die. This was his demand to the Infidels after the attack on the WTC.

These are the facts of Muslim life.

Nope. I think if you went to a hospital and looked at the directory of the doctors there, you'd most likely find a lot of Muslim names. If you told a family doctor that he was a potential terrorist, you'd do way more harm than good. However, if you see someone that recently moved to the country from the Middle East (or anywhere really) with an ungodly amount of cash asking very detailed questions about public transportation, that could indeed be a terrorist.

No they aren't, but hearing Arabic in an airport can still be unnerving. Should Muslims' liberties be suspended indefinitely, no, but I do think that the liberties of any known alqaeda member's liberties should be so.

muslims civil liberties here in the us should not be suspended but they should be under closer scrutiny. unfortunately over 80% of terrorists in the us come from the muslim community.

they want to kill all infidels... so what does that say about them. Of course all those violent christians flew the planes into the World Trade Center aided and abetted by those devilish Buddists and their brother the taoists. Don't suspend their uncivil liberties deport them to...say Iran or Libya.

I think their mosques should be watched and listened to. Other religions would not object if they were asked to submit to scrutiny, and have in the past, so why should Muslims ?

No. Isn't the USA a democracy? Timothy Mc Veigh was a white Christian and he was a terrorist too.
