I need some tips on being a safety next season, anyone?

Work on Run - Pass Recognition...
Work on Back peddling and interception drills.
Of course work on tackling every day.
Study your coverages and know where every DB and LB are supposed to be.
Study offensive formations to quickly pickup elligable receivers.
Man to Man coverage.
Tips. Never let a reciever get deeper than you.
Listen to your coach!!!

Ask your coach Susan. Beef Up. Safetys need to be strong. Drill yourself everyday on quickness and agility. Get some experience at the position during local pick-up games. Read a book. Go hit someone in the face...within the rules of course.

Aww baby u gotta have that killa instinct cuz a free safety is a DB, LB, and lineman all in one. You gotta be fast, fierce, and dominating. Don't take crap from no one on the field except older teammates who know what they are talkin about. Attack the ball, the opposition's body, feelings, mama, daddy, whole family tree whatever, as long as you get the job done.

Pay attention to your coaches, practice hard, play hard with attitude, and tackle with authority.

sack the QB or make the HB loses yards.And always keeps your eye on the QB, cuz he is the offensive key, good luck!! cuz u will need it .
