I like your RULES We could do business together. LOL And I would change the Fines rather a player ruff house a bit with another player I FEEL THEY SHOULD NOT BE FINED, Unless helmets come off and a player tries to hit another player when not looking. LOL I am sure they are saying things in words we don't hear, SO WHAT IS WRONG WITH A LITTLE FIGHT HERE OR THERE? Especially doing Practice, when it is hot THEY NFL,COACHES should LOOK OVER IT.

The FANS can change the length of the preseason. Boycott the games! Don't show up! What kind of idiot fans show up for a game that is MEANINGLESS!? As long as the fans show up, the games will happen.
The real problem is the wimply NFL players association - the players are not paid for pre season games, so of course the owners love the games, they make money, and they don't have to pay the players! What kind of idiot players association agreed to that?
My suggested change is: make pass interference reviewable by instant replay. We saw in the SuperBowl a couple of questionable pass interference calls that, when you looked at replays, did not look like pass interference. Let them be reviewed - they are huge and can change the game.

Let the defense end and the safety play the reciever instead of being flag for every contact down the field. They need to play the game instead of being such queers and depend on the refrees. And yours isnt a ruling its a pre-season game to find out who can play the game and who cant. So it should stay at 4 pre-season games, thats how u find out.

No more sudden death by kicking a stupid field goal. A team should get two series to try and score a touchdown before they allow the game to end on a stupid field goal. If two teams have battled that hard that they're tied at the end of regulation, they deserve a chance to score. If that two series has gone by with either a tie or somebody didn't score a TD, then let 'em kick to end it if they get in field goal range.

I somehwat agree with Girl360 however I would just guarantee that both teams get at least one possession during overtime. With kickers making 55 yard field goals, teams only have to move the ball maybe 35 yards to get into position. Let each team have an opportunity.

how about being able to hit the QB again. I can't stand that the QB is untouchable.
The two you have are ok. I don't like the 18 week season, it would probably end up with loads of injured players. Two game preseason is ok by me.

My rule change: eliminate that stupid "tuck" rule; it's arbitrarily enforced, (as nobody (officials) seems to know how to apply it with consistency), and it's too tough to call.
Your rule change: sorry, but I'd keep the season the way it is.

Get rid of the no direct hits to the head rule its football, I like contact. Don't stop the hitting. Helmet to helmet is always allowed.

I would make OT have the same exact rules as college football. It's so much fun to watch, and a ton more fair.

Just one, How about penalizing defenders for a direct hit on the Quarterback. QB's are too protected in the NFL.
