how can you check your cell phone voicemail from another cell phone?

i have verizon
i want to check my voice mail on my cousins cell phone cause my cell phone dusnt work.. its broken

You just call your cell phone from another phone, and when you start to hear your voice mail message, hit the pound key and type in your security code, then you listen to your messages!

dial your phone number and wait for the voice mail to pick up then enter your password while its saying "leave a message" or whatever

do you know your code? you need your code in order to check. go onto verizon's web site and they will give you the directions. why is it that people can think to ask the questions here and lose 5 points but cant think to look up the web site.
