Unique Tattoos?

Question

Any ideas on a unique idea for a tattoo that represents my husband (or our marriage) that is tasteful and feminine? Also somewhere that is tasteful, private and discrete.

you could get wedding bands entwined together and put ur names on them and put them like right above ur butt, but more on the cheek

how can you ask people for something that represents you and your husband when we don't know you? Take some time and think about your relationship and something will come to you and if it doesn't don't get anything until you do figure something out. I could say hey get this or that and it would have no significance to your relationship. Tattoos are forever and they should be something that you decide for yourself... not some stranger on the net. Same for the area you get it... why let someone tell you where to put it on your body?

Everybody has different tastes in tattoos. My advice would be to look at tattoos on the internet to get some ideas so you can design your own. It helps the tattoo artist if you can bring in some pictures on a disk to explain to him what you want. Then they can draw it out for you.

As for location, try to get it somewhere that has more fat(not calling you fat or anything!). It hurts a lot more if it's closer to your bone(i.e. lower back).

well it depends on what your friend's interests are. some tattoo ideas that i would like include: - a quote from one of my favorite songs, (something short and sweet but has a lot of meaning to me) - the phrase carpe diem (which is latin for the term 'seize the day') - the phrase 'i love you' in a different language when i grow older i want to get a bracelet tattoo that consists of i love you in different languages (which include french, japanese, and tagalog. :] ) - a barcode tattoo? (i think they look pretty cool as long as they're not too large) i would put it in a concealed place but have it symbolize how in reality we tend to label each other and rank each other higher or lower then one another.. . :/ idunno i'm just typing what is coming off the top of my head, sorry if it doesn't help XD

a private and discreet area would be your lower stomach, just above your pubic area... as for the design, many things are possible... ur 2 names with the wedding date inscribed into some hearts... although personally, I don't like hearts as tattoos. hope this helps.

My Aunt has the greatest Tattoo I've ever seen. Her name is Marie. Her tattoo is on her butt and says

"Marie Loves Dick."

Her husband's name is Dick, but even if something did go wrong, well, you get the double meaning. lol.

Try a Japanese style tattoo. Maybe two koi fish swimming around each other or two cranes in flight.

Have his lips tattooed on you, that always looks good on a woman and you dont have to have it covered in the case you was ever divorced.
Have them done on your waist area

My only suggestions are:

Don't get chinese symbols (Its overdone and stupid)
Don't get lower back tattoo (All girls are doing it now, also overdone)
I'd recommend against names also, if something goes wrong you'll have to get it removed... which sucks... or get it covered up

WHERE DID YOU WANT TO PUT THEM...HOW LONG have you two been married. A of diamonds for him Q of diamonds for you.scrawls with you wedding date in it.........i have mine on the breast ,it puts and builds so much calcium when i go for the yearly mammogram all they see is calcium.and had i known i would have put them on my back .above the bra strap. or an angle and a devil..........good luck and look at the pitchers on line tatoos.
