Well, as a medical student, only if you're in tip top shape, then you're 75% water... Most Americans are overweight, so this isn't the case... they'd be a smaller percent water. (because fat has less water than muscle)
I mean this is no joke to make, but really it seems a pain when people have to go through so much in order to go from place to place. I do think, however, that because they are putting restrictions on the handluggage that they increase checked luggage to 70 pounds again. I travelled on Wednesday... just before the new restrictions came in.
Honestly, this was a cheesy joke to make, and I really hope that the terror threat level drops so things can get as close to "normal" as possible (ie before 9-11)
Remember when family could walk you straight to the gates??

The problem airports are having are with binary explosives. (Yes, the stuff from that "Die hard" movie) Like in the movie, you can mix them together and create an explosive. Unless you can find a way to replace the water in your body with one of these liquids without dying, and then extracting it (again without dying) then they'd be concerned.
