I have nothing agaisnt Women being in the military.
as long as it is a Pilot or Naval personal.

I have my reasons Of why I think Women should not be allowed n the " Infantry"

well number 1 out of the Majority of Women they are alot more sensitive and emotional then men.

buit before I thought this way I had nothing agaisnt Women being in any Branch of Military.

Until I saw on the news one day.
that some chick and one dude were on patrol over in iraq this was when the iraq war started awhile back. and some Iraq soldiers were spotted up ahead the girl hesitated and got her partner killed when she could of killed them all she could of ****** saved her comrade. she was on tv crying about it. and I believe that though some Men wou;d do thje same out of the Majority Women will make that mistake more. and If they dont bann women from the infantry they should heighten the standards so that ini9cident hwill happen alot less.

I was in the infantry...you do everything together...I think it could create problems with the guys if she has sexual relations with anyone and causes any kind of problem to the functioning of the unit...I'm not against having them in front line areas (no such thing anymore) but women should not be placed into a unit that by its nature requires the men to eat, sleep, crap, and do other personal hygiene things all in the same spot at the same time...it's unfair to these men,

Also, how many women do you know that can carry 50 pounds 35 miles...training weeds out the ones who can't take it...the standards should not be lowered...I would want to know that the guy laying in the hole next to me(even if i didn't know him) was capable just by his unit emblem.

I got out of the military (Navy) just when they were placing women on board ships. I have nothing against women in the military as long as what they seriously want. But others join only to prove a point and that screws things up. It was not the women's' problems why I left, it was mine. Found it hard to concentrate working with women down the ships engine room especially when they were wearing T-shirts soaked in sweat. Nonetheless, it was equal opportunity so I had no choice but to leave.

No not really there are probably a few exceptions but the military cannot be customized for a few exceptions. Ninety pound rucksacks in 115 degree heat out months at a time, no I don't think so.

What an interesting question. I know it's wrong of me to post here without much of an answer, but I wonder if you have tried posting this in a different area of Answers? ooo, I'd love to see the "Phiolophy" area of Answers take a crack at this.

well I have to say yes. I know women that would be good at it. I know men that would be bad at it. I know that it depends on the person.
