Never ask a question without considering a solution, whether it be right or wrong. It basically shows self-motivation instead of letting others think for you.

The best advice I ever got was from my beloved Mother.
Many times in life, you have to make decisions whether they are big or small. I am the type of person who hates making decisions because I am afraid of making a mistake. My Mother told me that it was important to make a decision even if it turned out to be wrong. She said it was better to make a decision than to live in limbo and anxiety. Even if your decision is a mistake, it's not the end of the world because nothing is written in stone. You can always change the decision - this idea that nothing was irrevocable, that everything could change gave me the strength to make decisions.

class called lifestyle enhancement the Professor said the key to life is to "Show up" for example if you have someplace to be, be there rather you want to or not there might be rare oppurtunities, even if its for 5 min show up, I use this at the gym, if Im to tired to work out I go anyway, the other advise was "That there is no such thing as a stupid question", Every time Ive asked what I thought was a dumb question, there is always some one who has the same question

You are responsible for EVERYTHING...there is no such thing as "unforseen circumstances" since you are where you are, and subject to the circustances of where you are due to the choices you have made...once you realize this, EVERY choice you make determines your next set of circumstances...personal accountability and responsibility have been tossed to the wayside by most people...but this way of thinking really puts you in charge.

to slow down and enjoy every second of my children's growing up. I quit working for a few years and was there for first words, first steps, everything. I knew my children were safe and loved at home. They grew up to be wonderful adults. I would not trade that time for any job in the world.

GOD, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference.

That life isn't "fair" and it never will be. You shouldn't live your life by the "fairness doctrine" that life SHOULD be fair- this leads to a lifetime of dissappointment and resentment.
You should choose the "happiness doctrine" where you CHOOSE to promote happiness in yourself and those you love. It's a better choice that being worried about what's "fair"
