If you are talking about downloading TO your iPod

Maybe earlier generations, but not with 5th generations ipod's. you have to have iTunes to put songs on your ipod. I have a lot of songs on my CPU (over 5000) and I just imported the songs into my iTunes (cost nothing) and hooked up my iPod and all the songs downloaded to it.

So i think the answer is no, unless someone knows how to hack into it.
