Hi
I did not take my hubbys last name when we got married. Simple reason - we are foreigners living abroad, and in order for me to change some docs for the new last time I have to go to my home country. Plus I have bank accounts and property registered on my maiden name. Too much headache.

I had a friend who took his wife's last name... his reasoning was that she had children from a previous relationship. He thought it would simplify things. I never quite understood, especially since it wasn't technically her last name, it was her ex husbands.

I have my fathers last name also.
Due to our family name wont progress any

Its easier when it comes to geneology work also.
Nothing wrong with it at all.

i use my maidan name and my husbands last name, its both on my drivers licenses. If you have land in your maidan, and other stuff, its to much of a headache to deal with it.

Well. husbands name may be 'Dork', or 'Homo', or 'Fagzilla' or maybe even 'Smallbals'. That would make ME want to change.
