Is it me or alot of artist now and days don't really have true talent?

Girl, you don't have to tell me. I'm like, where do ya'll find these people. Somebody sign me, I got more talent in mah toe nails, I swear. I've completely abandoned most new music. I just stick with old school and people who don't fail me, like Mary J. Blige and sh*t. Oh and another thing I can't stand...I used to love Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson when I was younger, but what's up with them still singing songs like they little girls talking bout "boy I need you, boy I love you, why won't you call me?" If yo *** would grow up and get a "man" you wouldn't have these problems. Does anyone feel me?

I must agree since many of the veterans either passed on or retired we have been left with mediocre Hip Hop artists. R&B is still pretty ok cant say anything bad about it.

Very true, most of thr artists do not have talent and get by sex appeal. Its all about how their abs,breast and booty. Music has taken a turn for the worst. Im tired of the bling bling, leaning your shoulder, what the hell is that about anyways....lol

Its definitely not just you...true talent is a treasure not often found. I think there is more true talent on the local level rather than the mainstream.

Yup you right. Sum do and jus don't have alot of songs that show their talent. Anymore tho I don't like to waste my time so I stick to the old school cuz cant nobody do it like them. Especially the slo jams. ;-)

yeh to tell you the truth, sometimes i don`t bother with the recent songs they have . some of the songs are soo stupid and the singers just suck. well, it`s cause personally like oldies >:P well at least some old songs.. i`m not saying that all songs suck nowadays. but i barely listen to songs nowadays cause the singers have no talent xP

THANK YOU! finally I'm not the only one who feels this way. It's all about publicity nowadays...it was bad enough when Lindsay lohan put out an album, now paris, maybe nicole, WTF? We need more Beyonces who can do it all, dance and sing (no lipsyncing) sheesh, and why do people waste their money on those no talent losers anyway?

i agree but i think its only because everyone is starting to sound alike when a new song comes out its like you know the beat just somebody else singing it that sound like somebody else
