I am fascinated by Hispanic people from Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica and Mexico. I am also fascinated by Mayans who might be considered Hispanic since many speak Spanish. I visited a Mayan village and discussed in broken Spanish, the planting of crops on small plots that were burned of brush and trees. It was fascinating that the soil eroded into low spots in the limestone and that created pockets of soil deep enough for banana trees. It was also fascinating that the Mayans grew corn, beans, tomatoes, and other plants together. The beans enriched the soil with nitrogen and climbed the corn plants.
I am fascinated by the anthropology of pre-European America. There is some cultural and linguistic similarity to Asian cultures, which are also fascinating. It was fascinating to tour the more impoverished neighborhoods of Cancun and see the construction techniques in those neighborhoods. I would love to be able to spend a year In Mexico building houses and teaching in a vocational school.
I am fascinated by the beauty of Hispanic women of all ages but that is no different than my fascination with the beauty of all women.
I think that maybe I am still a racist. I do look in the mirror in the morning and feel content with who I am, except for the 30 extra pounds.

I have a lot of Hispanic friends so I think they are very friendly, kind and polite. We go out to eat together and talk about our families and things that are going on in the world.

Nothing, unless they are cute :P People are people to me. I have cleaning people from Peru that are wonderful and clean my house like it was their own. 2 of the ladies are absolutely beautiful. I wish I had skin like that. You are truly blessed with not just a kind, good nature but an eagerness to work and do that the Born-American population has lost to a certain degree. Keep up the good work and welcome to the USA. All i ask is that you pay taxes just like i do. God Bless America!

I live in New Mexico and hispanics are the largest racial group that we have. Every hispanic person is different and honestly you would be stereotyping if you tried to put a particular response that would fit everyone.

The truth? Depends on how they're dressed.

Oddly enough, I use this same criteria for how I judge everyone. If they're dressed like a gang-banger (no matter what their race), I will probably feel immediate animous. If they're dressed like any normal, responsible member of society, I'll probably smile and nod as I pass by them.

Free loader. A Mexican( wet back) no offense, someone if illegal should go back to their country and come back legal, pay taxes like anybody else. Dear American Girls open your eyes, don't be fascinated by US.

Thank You, you'll be glad....

I see someone with a history much older than mine and a person who, like everyone else, simply wishes to do the best with what they have for their family.
