Of course not, that's far from romantic.

It may not be in your best interests. While being frightened increases the chance of having her going to you for security - assuming you are more steady in the face of ghouls and goblins than she is - it may not do you much in terms of getting time to spend for just the two of you. Rather than being distracted by the haunted hotel's offerings, a quiet hotel in beautiful countryside might be more up her alley.
But rather than risk misunderstanding what both of you want for "a romantic getaway", why don't you plan it with her? Maybe there's a quiet hotel in beautiful countryside somewhere next to a large cornfield maze where Jason and Freddy come out to meet you two at midnight... :)

Only if she likes that kind of thing. Personally I would be scared to death (ghostbusters scared me), and I would probably divorce him on the spot. But hey, everyone's different. Maybe you could say "Hey, look at this hotel, they say its haunted." And see what she says. And drop the subject. Or have a friend bring up the subject with her.

no! what the hell is romantic about a haunted hotel. why dont you take her to a regular hotel and get her a spa treatment. some rose petals in the tub, feed her chocolate strawberries.

Depends if she likes being scared and likes the idea of potentially having the bed rock in the middle of the night - by someone other than you!

If it's truely haunted, I'm not sure how romantic it would be. Super cool, yes. Romantic, ummm..probably not.
