He's got infinite power. Yet refuses to use it.
He knows that when he lets a criminal go, the criminal is only going to come back at him harder and stronger than the last time.
Yet he refuses to kill them.
He could have stopped All of lex luthor's plans by killing him the first time they fought, but instead he lets this criminal mastermind live to attack his friends and family.
Is it just me or is Superman the STUPIDEST Superhero to ever walk/fly the earth?
Why can't someone just shove a Green-Kryptonite rock down his throat and up his @$$ to put him out of my misery already?

Because no matter how many people have grown out of liking Superman, there are still ALOT of people who love him enough not to shove a green kryptonite rock down his throat and up his a ss.
If Superman keeps generating money then he'll keep living and flying around regardless of how many villians he allows to walk all over him.
What his parents taught him about humanity and compassion is one of the reasons he holds himself back ALL the time. When he doesn't hold back, he is filled with guilt and regret. There is hardly ever a time where he is filled with self satisfaction and revenge. The human race and their trust for superman would wither and they would question if he is really a hero and not actually a villian. Humans don't fear for their lives with Superman around.
For superman, it's all about the greater good. This is why he has stayed around because he speaks to alot of people. Superman has gained people's trust with his loyalty and consistency of doing the "good deed".

When I was younger I liked Supes, there was something very liberating about wearing my underwear on the outside. Now that I'm older, he does kind of seem annoying. And how is it that Lois (or anyone for that matter) cannot tell that Clark is Superman??? Do they all need glasses. I cant relate to him. He's too strong, and he's not very smart either. Now Spiderman or Iron Man....

He's not the stupidest, just close. You have to take into account that he was created way back when. If you need to see him taken down a peg read or search for images of Frank Miller's: The Dark Knight Returns. Batman kicks the crap out of him. SUpes sucks and he sucks hard.

I don't really like superman, because he is stupid. He has his hair plastered to his head and wears his underwear over his tights. What kinda fool does that!!?
Don't let the hatred of a fictional character get you down. I'm not too thrilled by him either.

Sigh, I hate him too. I mean, all he has to do to so people wont know who he really is when he's out "fighting" is take off his glasses. Then he puts them back on and it's like "whoa, who's that guy?" because glasses make SUCH a difference.
