I have blackheads all over my nose, and on my chin area. I have a few scattered ones on what would be considered my "t-zone", and on the cheek area near my nose.
I don't have pimples, but I do have a little bit of rosacia on my cheeks.
I've been to a dermatologist, and he gave me a few things to try, but i'd like to try and take care of these issues myself first (the stuff he gave me burned my face, and im constantly outside so it's hard to not be in the sun occassionally)
I've tried all the "micro-beads" and facial peels. How can i get rid of ALL the blackheads, tighten my pores, and keep my skin clean, and glowing? These blackheads are driving me crazy!
My skin is "normal", but a little oily in the areas i mentioned above.
Any input is appreciated! Price doesn't matter, and I'm ok with lenghty routines, as well. Thanks!

Blackheads on the nose... I had that also but it ran in the family. I think it was called Rhinophema or something like that. I was in hte Far EAst so I made an appointment to go to the dermatologist in Hong Kong and he cut out EVERY pore that I had and that stopped the black heads. But not necessary to go to Hong Kong...
You mentioned oily skin which is normal with that problem. You might try this as a home remedy...The old standby is an oatmeal facial. Some people mix some honey in it, which is nourishing to the skin. Mix enough hot water with 2 minute oatmeal to make a paste. Smooth on the skin and leave until dry. Then use a dry washcloth to rub the skin. This will remove a lot of the blackheads. Then rinse the remaining residue from the skin.
A friend of mine stated that found that she had found a facial cleanser that I really love and works great for getting rid of blackheads. It's made by Jafra Cosmetics International. Its a little on the pricy side, but for her, she said it was worth every penny.
I do not know about this other than what she said. YOu can go to some cosmetic store to see if they have it otherwise, go to the Internet to jafra.com or perhaps jafracosmetics.com
Oh.. I forgot.. I hope you are not using any skin care products because they can compound the problem. If they are harsh or drying to the skin, it will cause the pores to produce even more oil. Check the labels or try discontinuing their use for a while.

This works, you just have to do it everyday, until you see some results:
You buy Noxzema in a blue jar at any drugstore, you put it on your face, and get some hot towels or washcloths dipped in hot water, as hot as you can stand, that will soften your face and the blackheads will come right out, after they do wash your face with the Noxzema or whatever you use, followed by a lot of water to rinse
I know there are different Noxzema products out there, but the one in the blue jar is what you need.
Hope it works.

Twice a week you should steam your face over a steaming (not boiling) pan of water. This will open up the pores and bring the blackhead to the surface. I clean my face with SeaBreeze (or Witch Hazel). Then splash with cold water. I go to a salon where my girl steams my face and removes the obvious ones. It may take a month or so, but it is safe and effective.
Good luck, and DON'T PICK AT YOUR FACE! :)

Wash with a salicylic-acid cleanser to unclog blackheads. Exfoliate using a scrub with jojoba beads, which are oil-free and nonhydrying polishers.

Believe it or not, there is a little tool that suctions blackheads as well. It is battery operated. I saw them at a dollar store and you may be able to find some at a cosmetic store as well if you have any in your area.

Make sure yu clean your face constantly. 2 times a day at least. I use St. Ives bleamish and Blackhead remover. It is coase so it works better than clean and clear. Also if you are a smoker than you are just bound to have them.

sea salt helped me a lot. you could also try st. ives blemish and blackhead clearing scrub if you haven't already. it's pretty good. or you could get the biore strips (if you haven't already).
Good luck!
