Why do hey always get beat up?

because of how the mankind treat each other now these days?
sometimes it's due to poverty(other have a tendency to rob, kill people for their property or money so they can survive), mental anguish (dis-ability to think right due to depression or stress, some turn out killing people from their own job), emotional distress (low self-esteem or broken hearted, some tendency to plot revenge on their ex's or abusing other or themselves), grief (loss of loved ones-they turn self destruct and other may get affected by ones behavior), economy (low wages, high prices on everything).
then, there's the war all over the world that attract extremist to react and start war within the neighborhood. it is sad to see what's the world turning into. we all should think of the young ones that is just being born and teens that just starting to enjoy life. everyone should unite to maintain peace everywhere so we can keep our world safe to live in.

Because parents are not taking responsibility for their children. They are letting their children run the streets wild. Then they join a gang. Then the gangs take over the streets, and it is not safe for anyone. Then you have those who are addicted to drugs and they will steal and kill to get money to get high. These adults and teenagers who are on the streets hurting others, more then likely did not have a loving up bringing. It is sad that a person has to fear going out at night.

The reason we cannot be safe on the streets is because there are lots of gangs, drug addicts, and vicious people out there that don't care about anyone but themselves. It's best to go with a few friends that you know real well and never alone, especially at night.

Because we have turned into an abusive society! We need to ban together and help each other! If you see someone getting hurt call the police ,if you can help,help them!!We cant just look the other way anymore, we are America,USA land of the free!!!

because u're living in the wrong neighborhood.
ur question reminded me of harold and kumar though when they see ppl like them getting beaten up. But that's Newark, that's another story (yes I've been there)
