Listen: I have a gay family member. I'm pretty much an expert. First, Take a walk. Try to look at a girl. If you are attracted, then you're straight. If you look at a boy and are attracted, you're gay. You can also try looking in the mirror and saying to yourself you're gay/straight. See which one you can believe, see what one you can say easier. I wish your friend the best of luck. May he find true love, no matter what gender.

# Okay, I'm having fun with stereotypes, but if the truth is, if you took this test, you probably are gay. And if you took the test in pen... big news flash... you're definitely queer! "Oh no, I'm not a homo," you say? Just the fact that you are reading this means that "gay" is an issue for you. Even if you have never acted on any gay fantasies, have hetero fantasies or are bi-sexual, as far as this book is concerned, you qualify as a homo. If there wasn't homophobia, we wouldn't be having such problems with these labels. We wouldn't think twice about being a big Queer, but because of homophobia, all sexuality is reduced to one word. And according to a survey of ten top homophobes, that one and only word is: STRAIGHT!

I just heard in a Reggaeton song where the singer says: Momia!!
which is Spanish for Mummy.
If you weren't born in Egypt long ago, then you aren't a mummy but if you don't have much life in you, you may act like a mummy.
Frankly "gay" is a word that means nothing to me. People label certain conduct as "gay" conduct or acting gay.
So, it depends on your definition. If you love someone and that person is elegant or artistic or even athletic, then some morons may call him gay. Who cares?
Now, there is a new style called "Metro-sexual" which involves straight men who are elegant, like Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.
Maybe your friend is like that.

I find with all the abbreviated words, the question is hard to read. It takes time to know yourself. Sometimes, a person may have a gay relation and think they are gay because sexual pleasure can be experience no matter who is doing the stimulation. Sometimes, a person is simply a late bloomer and isn't really into sex yet--let alone choosing an orientation.
Given enough time, your preference will surface on it's own without anyone directing you. When you are ready, it will happen.

If you are physically, sexually, emotionally, and romantically attracted to a person of the SAME gender, then you are gay.
If you do not feel those aforementioned things for a member of the OPPOSITE gender, then you are gay.
Has your friend perhaps experienced and encounter that had put him in this quandry?

Maybe he should try dating both sexes and see which he likes better. If he finds himself sexually attracted to woman then he's not gay. If he finds himself sexually attracted to men then he's gay. Or if he finds himself sexually attracted to either or both then he's bisexual. You can not tell if someone is gay by their demeanor anymore...it is completely determined by their sexual preference(s).
