AAAGGGGHHHH is everyone here a retro head? Best guitars ever made are most definately Ibanez JEM's top quality build, top spec hardware, largest range of sounds/tones of any guitar. What is the world coming to?

Gibson Les Paul and Fender Telecaster are tied. I also like Taylor, Martin, and Gibson accoustic guitars.

Yeah, best is very opinionated and subjective. I personally prefer
ESP Guitars (www.espguitars.com). But a bunch of others that make the list would be:

Gibson/Epiphone
Jackson

My mom's old Seagull guitar! I just play it around the house because it's acoustic only. But it has a great sound, and it's made in Canada, which the pros say makes it really good.

'BEST' is so subjective and opinionated.

How bout a list of upper end popular electrics:
Gibson Les Paul
Fender American Strats (pre CBS of course)
G&L anything (American only)
Paul Reed Smith (American only)
Parker Fly (American only)
