no and it's probably more normal than most people your age would admit. Dates should start out as friendships that might mean studying together or watching tv or just hanging out and drinking a soda. As you become more involved and wish to express your feelings with someone, you may kiss or make-out. All of this happens to everyone when the time is right....and don't let peer pressure or the advertising industry make you feel like your missing something. The gift of yourself is very special and you don't want to give your heart away too soon.....Enjoy being 16!

The only bad thing is you are worried about it. DON'T BE. Too much display of sexuality has led many people your age to think that is normal. It is refreshing to know there is still a young woman who values herself enough not to actively pursue promiscuous activity.

Go to school, have fun, study hard, exercise, help people, and be the best person you can be. You will be rewarded with much more than a date or a kiss.

Good Luck

No, it's not bad at all. I was 17, and a few months away from graduating from my high school when I had my first real date. Don't rush, you may regret it later if you just date, kiss, etc just because everyone else is. Give yourself a chance to meet a good person, not a pick you aren't really happy with. Good luck!!

I was a senior in high school before I had my first date. You so have plenty of time. I have a friend he is 40 and he has never kissed a man or a women. He is just not interested. So when the time is right it will happen.

Hi dear "unknown" dunno if you are male or female but... guess what... I'm 20 and I've never had a date or a kiss... When I tell this to other people they laugh at me... they say ==> Not even a kiss..? liar!

But it's true. Although I wish I had... I think there's a reason for everything (maybe me or the circumstances around me)... but I remain hopeful that one day this will happen. Personally, I think this is not bad... or at least not as bad... there's a time for everyone... and believe me... most of my friends who have bf or gf think it is good that I don't have one... lol... so, enjoy life, remain hopeful cos we're young and there will be time to be worried... when we are in our 30's...

Cheers!

This would be an excellent show for "Believe It or Not" to be aired for all these 10 to 16 year old girls and boys, that don't think their parents have any sense, stupid and don't listen, then they get in trouble. They need to take notice to your question. You have all the time in your life to experience the facts of life later on. Good for you. I was my husbands virgin, never regreted or messed a thing and was very proud of the matter.

No it isn't bad. Take your time. Hang out with friends in groups. Get to know the parents of your friends, particularly the parents of your boy friends. After you really like someone because you enjoy their company and you enjoy the company of his parents, maybe kissing is OK. You will know when it is right; it will be when the kiss means you take joy in just being with the other person. Wait to have sex later. Not that sex is evil or bad but in these times promiscuous sex can lead to diseases that are permanent and deadly.

Honey, it just means a guy up to your standards hasn't shown up yet. I'm 19, and I've had boyfriends and kisses and what have you, but I've never been on a proper date! Hopefully that will cahnge when I get back to college ;-* The point is, wait for someone worth your time and effort.

I'm 15 and I never been kissed or been on a date either it's not bad it's means that it's not your time yet.And if you rush into things and put of desperation you kiss the wrong guy,or go on the wrong date you will most definitely regret it.

Aren't you a little young to be looking for a husband? No, it's not bad, you have been keeping out of trouble. Wait a few more years. Most guys don't want to kiss you because they think you're wonderful and it's fun, they just want in your pants. Stay away for a few more years.
