Crusader King? It's about a leper king in the crusades, Baldwin IV. Or Enemy Brothers which is about a boy who was taken from his English family by a German woman when he was a baby in the 30's and his older brother who found him during WWII. The boy is a full-out nazi kid who belives everyhting the English do is wrong and now his older brother is trying to get him to remember. Besides some people from my school, I don't know anyone who's read them. I really like them, what's your feedback on them?

I'm sorry I haven't read that book yet, but I'll take your opinion and try to see if I can find it and read otherwise, I am very interested in WWII and I read many books on it. Maybe you would like MESSAGE FROM NAM by Danielle Steel. It's one of my favorites!

I haven't read that book but love to read stories from the times of the crusades.

(Henry IV by Shakespeare features a king who keeps saying he will lead people to the Crusades to make up for some of his own bad actions, but he never gets to go but one of his enemies goes and gets killed.)

There are some interesting books on Carnival in the Middle Ages (See Bahktin's book on Rabelais.)

Sorry, I haven't. Who is the author, and what general audience is the book aimed at?
