hi, trojan Horse is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

Best Wishes && Good Luck!

If you get spybot make sure its v1.4. Install it and don't forget to update after install. Another good one is Spyware doctor, but its not free. You can get Spyware doctor from www.pctools.com.
Its also good to have a good virus protection, I use F-Secure. AVG is free only if you subscribe, but a good program if your short on cash. You can also purchase AVG pro.

This sounds like a serious problem. My mom's computer had the same problem you might want to try a full reset make sure that your important documents are saved to a disk but make sure you don't pass the virus to the disk otherwise reseting will be worthless.

your anti virus may have been corrupted if it didnt help you can try downloading the free version of AVG anti virus it got rid of both of my trojan horses... (that was about 2 weeks ago) if that doesnt work you will have to try a system restore or try reformatting (reinstalling your operating system) which requires your windows disk

You could run an online virus scan from this site:http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/
Also, I think Spybot Search and Destroy is a really good program also and it is a free download. You can find that at http://www.snapfiles.com
Good luck.
