Okay, ignore my previous answer.

I finally understand what you mean. If someone has done black magic to you, countering it with your religion, is not a sin. Good luck.

What the heck are you talking about? Do you mean cursing someone with black magic because they've pissed you off?

First of all "Magic" is neither black or white. If you believe in magic, then it simply has the power that you give it.

Secondly (and this is just common sense) the energy you send "out" will come back on you eventually. Are you perfect? What makes you so perfect that you feel that you have the right to cause harm to someone who hurt you?

Grow up.

Black magic doesn't really work. It's believing in it that makes it real
If it was real it would have been mainstream not science/Technology
But anyway, defending yourself from anything even holy magic isn't a sin. It's just self-preservation which is a basic human right

ok, cutting is self mutilation.

What you do to yourself, you do to god. So keep at it.

Now just remember, Robbie the razor goes down the block, not across the street

Self defence is not a 'sin'.
Although, if christian, you should really accept the belief that to ascend to heaven in a Christ like way, one must be willing to recieve the devils work on you without fighting it. As to fight death and misfortune, shows you are unable to grasp the concept of WHY jesus died the way he did, that being; by submitting to everything satan threw at him, he overcame his mortality, essential to gaining immortality. (or to the realisation he was god, depending on your belief)

Oh, by the way, I'm pagan.
