The property is a dog and the ex is being a nuesance. Can I leagally sell or give away the dog without the ex's consent?

No. You need to simply talk to the ex about whatever issues you may have with the dog and the ex. Sometimes, talking is all it takes. No court intervention is needed, unless, of course, you want to pay the big bucks for such.

If you want a contempt ruling, you can. Otherwise you do not have the right to sell or give away. Give the dog to him & stop be a big old "B". Pettiness is so ugly.

It does make me think you are a pretty sleezy person wanting to do this to get even with him or hurt him. Just give him the dog and quit trying to get your little digs into him.
