I like an inexpensive product called Howard Restore A finish available at the home improvement stores in the paint/stain aisle. You can get it in clear or in the finish that matches the stain already on the floor. It cleans, polishes and protects the wood while filling in scratches, too. You simply apply with a sponge mop and your floors will look like they have been refinished.

They make a product called Renewal...I bought it at Home Depot (Maybe Me4nards or Lowe's has it too)and you just mop it on and let it dry...made my floor look much better! It's a heavy duty mop and glow for about $20 a bottle, if I remember correctly.

you can lightly sand floors then refinish floors using a clear polyurethane for floors (oil Base) take and mix some stain in the finish to give it color how much stain to mix in depends on the condition of your floors and personal taste.I have refinished many floors on a tight budget

orange oil works great to get out stains, and if they are already finished it makes them shine, but also makes them slippery!
