My all-time favorite is Frank & Panama's "The Court Jester" (1954), featuring the incomparable Danny Kaye.

I loved anything by Rodgers and Hammerstein, South Pacific, Oklahoma etc. I adore all the old MGM musicals from the 30s, 40s and 50s. Hair was good , both the play and the film. I want to see Jersey Girls and Spamalot and the new off broadway one Shout!
