Making more $?

Question

I have a full time job as a nail care specialist which I love but W/ all the tax, health insurance, products, tips etc etc taken out I don't have much left. I'm trying to pay off my car and C/C but it's kinda an impossible thing to do when I'm having to pay for other stuff too. I'm wanting to earn more $, but don't want to have to get another job...I've done the whole 2/3 job thing and almost killed myself doing it. Right now that's the only thing I can think of doing, but I would rather find another way of to earn xtra. I'd like to work from home maybe but want everything to be ligit!! Any suggestions??

Read about financial and investing books by authors like Robert Kiyosaki and Jamie McIntyre. Then take a course or seminar in financial investing (i.e http://www.21stcenturyacademy.com). You should learn how to take care of your finances and plan out your money. (Like tax minimisation and not spending more than you earn)

That's just my advice.

What are you doing to keep track of your current client base? What other services might they be interested in that you could arrange to offer them through someone else and make a commission? (You may need to get the permission of your owner, but regardless, you should be "building your book of business") If you do nails, there are probably a number of fashion items that you could present through strategic partnerships and/or picking up items at wholesale and retailing them directly.

Also, you might consider finding a good network marketing company that offers products that your existing clients might also want to buy. This is a great traning ground to increase your sales and marketing skills. The poor man's franchise.

In general, you should be considering how you can increase your skills in sales. This might position you to be able to qualify for a position where you can earn more than what you make doing nails. I imagine you are a people person, considering what you currently do. Learn more about different salon products and find out if you can rep them, since you come from that environment.

The whole key to earning more is to offer more value. The more someone is willing to pay for your services in the marketplace, the more money you'll be able to make. If the market sets the price of your services below what you want to make, you need to find something worthy of your skills that will.
