It will depend on which socket you have. Go to http://www.PowerLeap.com and run the discovery program in the upper right portion of the page. I have a P-III 500Mhz that I was able to install a 1.4Ghz chip into with one if their adaptor boards. It works great and is plug and play with no drivers. Actually I have upgraded 8 computers with the Slot 1 adapter and 2 with the 370 adapter. All with the Celeron 1.4Ghz chip.

Every Dell Optiplex 110 I've encountered have all had pentium III cpu's, somewhere on the motherboard there should be some jumpers for you to set the front side bus speed and the cpu multiplier. If the front side bus is set at 100 MHz and the mulitplier is set at 5.5 times then your cpu is running at 550 MHz. If your bus is set at 100 MHz then you are probably be capped at 850 MHz. Get a cpu that meets that maximum front side bus and multiplier settings.
