To create terror among fellowmen.

The terrorist is just a pawn in the dirty game of terror politics. The terrorist is influenced by a fanatic school of thought where he believes he is justified in using any means for fighting for his cause. Then he starts being corrupted by power, strays from his idealistic goals, and starts killing for greed of money, his own insecurity, sex, and becomes a psychopath who may start killing just for his whims. Once he goes into this world of rampant crime, his masters use him to achieve their nefarious goals. He is unable to recognise his fellowmen, as he lives a world of self glory seeking gratification in the murders and bloodshed.
