For any reason?

If you commit a crime against the state, as all crimes are by definition, then you could turn yourself in to the police and serve whatever sentence the judge sees fit.
However, I think you're talking about a tort, the type of thing you see on Judge Mathis and what not. Usually a tort is reconciled in the manner of some monetary repayment. So the question is, what would you sue yourself for? "Yes your honor, I'm accusing myself of damaging my own property and violating a contract I had with myself and I demand that I repay myself the monetary value of the damaged property."

You can't press charges against yourself, for any reason. If you commited a crime and go to the police its self-incrimination, not pressing charges.

Other example, you press charges against yourself for rape--in that case you'd be considered mentally ill.

There's no possible way, besides self-incrimination, where a person can press charges against themselves.

There are laws against self incrimination.

You can certainly testify in your own defense, and even plead guilty, but I don't think you can press charges against yourself. Get someone else to do it for you.

No. YOU can't sue yourself. There has to be a plaintiff and a defendant. There are laws against self-incrimination. If you did sue yourself, I bet you would have a great mental-illness defense. Good luck!

You might be able to, but the judge would probably dismiss it and order you to psychological counseling..
