I would go back to the last fifteen minutes. It was a more innocent time in my life, a time of carefree pleasures and happy memories. And to think, fifteen minutes from now, all that will seem like a half an hour ago.
Love, Jack.
PS: For those of you who want to go back more than 100 years, I have one word for you: "Dentistry."

Either the 20s for the jazz and surrealist scenes in paris or the late 40s/early 50s for the abstract expressionist seen in new york.
I'd also like to see the Minoan civilization before it was wiped out by the eruption of Thera circa 1640 BC (the reality of the Minoans, as recorded by Egyptians and then shared with Greeks led to the MYTH of Atlantis).
As for morals, depravity has been around since the dawn of mankind, if you think a given time frame was different you are voluntarily not looking at the whole picture. perhaps it was easier to HIDE in certain eras, but the evidence is in the historical record if you look.
And from another perspective, it was for instance commonplace and even a sign of virtue for women in Elizabethan England to walk about in public displaying one or both breasts. Now would that today (or even in the 1950s) be called "moral" or "immoral"? Perhaps morality is much simpler than the changing cultural values from era to era; perhaps true morality is a simple as live and let live, and cultural values that change are derivative of this fundamental.
True morality is absolute and timeless and is not synonymous with intrusiveness, whilst values are more subjective and derivative, and change from era to era. Values may embrace intrusiveness.

I'd have to say the time of the ancient Romans. I've read what they accompished way back then and I think it'd be cool to actually visit this time when it was all going on! I'm especially intrigued by the city of Pompeii being destroyed by Vesuvius and it may seem morbid but to see that up close would be something!!

Exactly, morals were much higher and there was a golden boom following WW2 because there was so much to rebuild. It seems that everybody was going in the same direction. It's terrible that it's tragedy that brings the best in people.

I think I would like to go back to the Twenties to Fourties, when big band was in, and jazz and afro/latin jazz were becoming mainstream... all during the era or Prohibition... that would be interesting to say the least!

For me it would be a toss up between the mid-late 18th century or the 1960's.
