What is a good spray gun to start using if I want to get into custom painting my own motorcycles?

I am partial to the SATA line but they are expensive.
I would start with a HVLP touch up gun.
They are great for motorcycle parts and the HVLP has an 80% paint transfer so a little paint goes a long way.
